Laboratory Demographic Change
The subject of demographic change is one of the hot topics on the sustainability
agenda as it effects politics, business and societies across Europe. Acting
under the patronage of EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal
Opportunities Vladimir Spidla, business corporations have collaborated with
econsense to form the “Laboratory Demographic Change”, a think tank revolving
around the strategic challenges of demographic development within Europe. In
discourse with relevant stakeholders, the network seeks to develop strategies
for sustainable personnel policies in Europe, foster paradigm changes within
corporations while making a proactive contribution towards strengthening
competitiveness and the EU Commission’s CSR Alliance.
